This site is to keep his legacy and to continue what he loved doing.
Robert got his start in theater around 1989 as assistant costume designer For Meet Me in St. Louis (Gershwin Theater). Robert told me he love theater. He got into wigs because he enjoyed wigs more then costumes. Wigs were his life. Synthetic wigs were used most of the time for longevity, but the wigs never looked cheap. Robert did so well with period styles. He took so much time to get the wig to be exactly how the costume designer wanted. He had so much love for that of wigs. He kept binders of every show he ever did . Unfortunately they were all thrown out after his passing. Robert was thinking about wigs up until the end. Robert loved theater even tho it wasn't always so kind to him.

I started ventilating back in 2012. I have loved wigs since I was a little boy. I just loved how the hair would stay the same, unless you ruined the wig. I started working at the original Broadway Wig Company back in Jan. 2018. Robert gave me a opportunity to work there. I knew how to ventilate. I knew how to build lace caps. That was a more than enough for him. I made wigs for so many shows. Things happened so fast. I learned so much under him. I used to be an insecure wig maker and Robert made sure I never felt like I was. The potential he saw in me will be something I will be forever grateful for. I was his last actual employee before the business closed. My goal with using the name is to keep Roberts Legacy alive. Joining his legacy with mines.

The Broadway wig company will offer wig rentals, custom wig builds, refronts on wigs and styling. We provide wigs for on and off Broadway shows and Tv film.
